Scottish Chamber Orchestra

The internationally celebrated Scottish Chamber Orchestra is made up of a unique collection of talented musicians who inspire and connect with people of all ages. The SCO aims to provide as many opportunities as possible for people to hear their music by touring the length and breadth of Scotland and around the world as proud ambassadors for Scottish cultural excellence. In recent years, the Orchestra has travelled throughout Europe, the Far East, India and the USA.

The Bank’s historic branch at St Andrew Square has witnessed three centuries of development across Edinburgh and the Bank is delighted to play a role in this exciting new phase in the capital’s story. Through the lease of the St Andrew Square site, behind the branch, the Bank is pleased to assist in the establishment of a world-class arts centre, which creates a home for the Scottish Chamber Orchestra, delivers a new state-of-the-art auditorium to be enjoyed by the city and offers a creative and educational base to be used for generations to come.

Committed to virtuosity and originality, the International Festival presents some of the finest performers and ensembles from the worlds of dance, opera, music and theatre for three weeks in August.

Dunard Fund

Dunard Fund is a charitable trust based in Edinburgh. Over the past 30 years, it has given grants totalling many millions of pounds to support charities in the arts and heritage sectors. Chaired by Carol Colburn Grigor, the trust particularly supports projects which facilitate the training and performance of classical music at the highest standard. The trust also funds the promotion of education and exhibition of the visual arts, including architecture.
